1. Online Finnish Lesson

I have a Master’s degree in Finnish language and over three years of teaching experience. I’ve worked with both private students and groups, including students preparing to study in Finland. Since I learned Finnish myself as an adult, I understand how difficult Finnish grammar can feel at first. My goal is to make Finnish clearer, more logical, and easier to use in real life — not only in textbooks. My lessons are suitable if you want to:
• understand grammar clearly
• use Finnish in everyday situations
• prepare for living, studying, or working in Finland
• study in a structured but relaxed way
Students often describe me as calm and easy to talk to. I adjust lessons based on your goals and learning style, and I try to create a relaxed atmosphere where making mistakes is part of learning. I usually combine grammar, vocabulary, and speaking practice in the same lesson. Beginners start step by step, while intermediate students focus more on conversation, corrections, and deeper grammar understanding. I mainly use Suomen mestari together with my own original materials, slides, and videos. In the first free trial session, we discuss your goals and make a study plan together. This class is perfect for those who want to improve their speaking and reading skills. During the sessions, we will read articles, discuss their contents, and engage in conversations related to the topics. It's also a great opportunity to practice speaking in a supportive and encouraging environment. Additionally, this class can be beneficial for individuals who are preparing for the YKI test in the future. This class offers a dynamic and interactive learning experience. Small group lessons are available for 3-5 people, but it is important to contact me first if you prefer this option. The lessons can be tailored to the needs and preferences of the group, allowing for a more interactive and collaborative learning experience. Group lessons provide the opportunity to practice and learn from each other, while still receiving individualized attention from the instructor. Whether you have a group of friends, colleagues, or family members who are interested in learning together, this option allows for a more social and dynamic learning environment.
